Kangaroo Island has quietly built one of Australia's most impressive food and wine scenes - and most visitors are genuinely surprised by it. From cellar door tastings overlooking the ocean, to gin blending masterclasses, farm-fresh oysters, lavender scones and honey ice cream, there's a full day - or more - worth of eating and drinking to do here.
We offer four tour options, from a quick afternoon tasting run to a full day across the island's best producers. All tours are led by local guides who know the venues and the people behind them. You eat, drink and enjoy - we handle the driving.

Produce Tour
This tour is about getting as close to the source as possible. Visit the only oyster farm on Kangaroo Island for fresh-shucked oysters. Stop in at one of the island's famous honey farms to learn about the Ligurian bees that have been on KI since the 1880s. Wander through the lavender at Emu Bay, explore the eucalyptus distillery, and finish the day at KI Spirits — home of Australia's oldest gin distillery — for a taste of their award-winning botanical gins, vodkas and liqueurs. (Food and wine not included)

Bay of Shoals Wines
Just five minutes from Kingscote, Bay of Shoals overlooks the ocean and is a firm local favourite. Cellar door tastings, gourmet picnic platters, fresh seafood and oyster platters, and a range of lawn games make this the perfect spot to linger.

Islander Estate Vineyard
Set on the Cygnet River in beautiful countryside, Islander Estate draws on French winemaking expertise to produce elegant fine wines that genuinely capture Kangaroo Island. Personalised tastings and gourmet platters on the deck or lawns.
Open 12pm - 5pm (closed Wednesdays)
Kangaroo Island Spirits
Home of Australia's oldest gin distillery. Award-winning contemporary botanical gins inspired by the KI landscape, alongside locally inspired vodkas and liqueurs. Taste in the gin garden or book a cocktail masterclass or blend-your-own-gin experience.
Open daily 10am - 5:30pm
Dudley Wines
A stunning hillside vineyard with expansive decks and ocean views all the way to the mainland. Fourteen wines, gourmet grazing boards, pizzas, a kids' play area and a small shop. Always a highlight.

False Cape Wines
Kangaroo Island's largest vineyard — 60 acres on the banks of the Willson River. Award-winning wines, gourmet platters, homemade pies, a nature playground, farm animals and a basketball hoop. Something for everyone.

Springs Road Wines
A boutique estate-grown winery with a large deck and beautiful rural views. Pre-book a guided premium tasting with a gourmet cheese platter for a quieter, more personal experience.

Kangaroo Island Brewery
Born from the hard work and perseverance that has defined KI's people for generations. A craft brewery on a pristine island, making beers the early settlers would be proud of.
Mon-Thu 12pm - 6pm | Fri 12pm - 9pm | Sat-Sun 11am - 7pm

All prices listed are based on pick-up and drop-off at Kingscote. Prices may vary depending on your pick-up and drop-off location. Food and wine are not included in tour prices unless stated : they are available for purchase at each venue. Bottled water is provided on all tours.
