Kangaroo Island Tours
Whether you're here for a day or a week, arriving by ferry or cruise ship, travelling as a couple or a group of 80 - we have a tour for you.
No matter whether you're coming to Kangaroo Island on a cruise ship for the day or arriving by ferry for a short break or holiday, we're here to help you make the most of it. We can transfer you to your accommodation on arrival, or stay and plan a full day out with us.
All our drivers live and work on Kangaroo Island. That means when you're out on tour, you're getting genuine local knowledge: the history, the hidden spots, the best time of day to catch Remarkable Rocks in the light, and where to get the freshest oysters on the island.
All tours can be custom-made to suit your schedule and interests. Simply tell us what you'd like to do or see, and we'll take care of the rest.

Kangaroo Island is one of Australia's largest islands, with many of its top attractions spread across different regions. Joining a guided tour lets you spend more time exploring and less time navigating unfamiliar roads. Whether you're interested in wildlife, food and wine, or breathtaking coastal scenery, there's a tour to suit every type of traveller.
When you tour with us, you're exploring Kangaroo Island with locals who know it best. Colin grew up on the island and shares the places, stories and local knowledge that only come from years of living here. Instead of travelling on a large coach, you'll enjoy a more personal experience in our modern, air-conditioned minibuses, with tours available for couples, families and groups of up to 82 people. Whether you choose one of our popular itineraries or a custom tour built around your interests, we'll help you experience Kangaroo Island your way.

From Seal Bay to Remarkable Rocks, Raptor Domain to Flinders Chase — get up close with KI's wildlife and iconic scenery on a guided day tour.

Award-winning wines, Australia's first gin distillery, fresh oysters, lavender farms and local honey. KI's food and wine scene is spectacular — let us take you through it.

Docking at Penneshaw? We pick you up at the port and have you back before your ship departs. Small buses, no crowds, no cruise premiums.

Kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, possums and — if you're lucky — little penguins. The best wildlife spotting happens after dark, and we'll take you there safely.

Don't want to share your day with strangers? Book a private tour and go exactly where you want to go, at your own pace. Perfect for couples, families and special occasions.

Have something specific in mind? Tell us what you want to see and do, and we'll build the itinerary around you. Hens and bucks parties, group getaways, birthday trips — all welcome.

The food and wine scene on Kangaroo Island is world-class and genuinely worth a day of your time. Our food and wine tours are consistently among our most popular itineraries. From fresh seafood and share platters at waterfront spots, to sampling award-winning botanical gins, local wines and handcrafted beers — there's something for every kind of foodie.
Kangaroo Island is home to Australia's first gin distillery, and the island's producers are known for Ligurian honey, oysters, lavender, eucalyptus and some seriously good wine. From a casual lunch at a winery to a full farm-gate tour, we'll take you there.
Kangaroo Island is one of Australia's premier wildlife destinations — and it genuinely earns that reputation. On our wildlife tours you can hand-feed kangaroos, get up close with birds of prey at Raptor Domain, cuddle a koala, watch Australian sea lions in their natural habitat at Seal Bay, and explore the ancient rock formations at Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch.
Our sightseeing tours cover both the north and south coasts, taking in the island's most spectacular scenery, beaches and natural landmarks. After dark, the nocturnal tour brings out a completely different side of KI's wildlife.

We specialise in shore excursions for cruise passengers docking at Penneshaw. If you'd rather explore the island on a small, comfortable bus with a genuine local guide than join a big cruise coach with 50 strangers, we're the right choice.
We'll pick you up right at the tender point, show you the best of what Kangaroo Island has to offer in the time you have available, and have you back at the port with time to spare. No stress, no crowds, no inflated prices.
Want the island to yourselves? Our private tours are perfect for couples, families, hens and bucks parties, and anyone who wants a day designed entirely around their interests. You choose what you want to see and do — we handle everything else.
We also offer fully custom itineraries for groups with specific interests. If you want to spend a whole day on food and wine, or split the day between wildlife and a long lunch, just tell us and we'll make it happen.

The best tour depends on what you'd like to experience. If it's your first visit, the South Coast Tour is a popular choice because it includes iconic attractions like Seal Bay, Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. If you're interested in local produce, a Food & Wine Tour is a great way to discover Kangaroo Island's wineries, distilleries and gourmet experiences. Wildlife lovers often choose the Wildlife Park Tour, while private and custom tours let you build an itinerary around your interests.
Yes, especially if you're visiting for a day or don't want to hire a car. Kangaroo Island is much larger than many visitors expect, and attractions are spread across the island. A guided tour takes care of the driving and planning, giving you more time to enjoy the scenery while learning from a local guide who knows the island well.
Absolutely. We offer private and custom tours for couples, families and groups. Whether you want to spend the day exploring wildlife, visiting wineries, relaxing on the beach or combining several experiences, we'll help create an itinerary that suits your interests and schedule.
If you're arriving by cruise ship at Penneshaw, our Cruise Ship Tours are designed around your ship's schedule. You'll be picked up near the tender point, visit some of the island's most popular attractions, and return with plenty of time before departure. We also adjust itineraries if cruise schedules change, where possible.
You can reach Kangaroo Island by ferry from Cape Jervis or by flying from Adelaide to Kingscote Airport. Once you arrive, we offer transfers from both the ferry terminal and airport, making it easy to join one of our tours or get to your accommodation. If you're planning your trip, read our guide on getting to Kangaroo Island.
